Traffic jam at Janata/ Palarivattom	Posted: Monday, December 22, 2008
Description : This is a regular scene during the peak hours. Vehicles coming from alwaye towards Kaloor are routed bypassing Palarivattom. The road is very narrow at the St. Martin's church end and leads to heavy congestion. the days have long gone when the heavy traffic was only inbound to Ernakulam City. these days there is an equal number of vehicles going towards the outskirts in peak hours. why cant the entire stretch from St. Martin's church to Renaissance be made a one way (traffic allowed towards alwaye only)? and all inbound traffic be routed through Palarivattom Junction. This would definitely ease a lot of snarls at the junctions and ease traffic all along the stretch
