Description : whenever we think of a solution to traffic jams we always launch in to pipe dreams of multi-billion projects like mtero rail which will take at least 10 years to materialize . can we have some relief through simple re-arrangement of existing facilities with no / minor investment in infrastructure ? if anyone thins yes - Tell us here ....... We are waiting ......

Description : one of my suggestion for this problem is to utilise the bypass road and seaport-airport road for busses.For example all the busses from west cochin to aluva are now running through the city only.The busses from tripunithura side to aluva are also going through the city only.For these busses the by pass road and seaport airport road can be utilised.If the existing busses canot be diverted , new permits can be given through these roads, so that whoever wants to go to aluva from tripunithura side or from west cochin side will not be trapped in the busy city ,which also saves a lot of time also.

Description : Sir, The inner roads should be repaired and made motorable. Two wheelers and cars should be encouraged to drive through these roads and the bigger vehicles should be restricted to ply through inner residential roads during day time. Joy
