JOSEPH GAMADear Sir, First of all let me thank you for your achievement in catching the culprit behind the serious bomb blasts in recent times. As described in today's Asianet News by some of our former DGP's such as Mr. Raman IPS and former UP DGP, you are one of the best in Kerala Police and you will achieve more laurels in the coming future with your determination and dedication to the work. It is heartening to see that there are some good police officers such as you, Mr. Sibi Mathews etc. in our Kerala Police. I am not wasting your time, but to request you to keep up the good work, which will definitely get noticed in the eyes of good public. Once again I convey my heartiest congratulation and wish YOU all the success in your future assignments.
Abhilash p kumarI would like the safety measurment of kerala police but kochi is a fast growing city so i think there should be more patrols in the city and use higtech vechiles so that it is easy to close your target so i wish the kerala police will do something like this
S A KUMARTHE SERVICES PROVIDED BY POLICE FORCE ALL OVER IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED AND IT IS NOT MERE SERVICE IT IS "DEDICATION TO TO DELIVER EXCELLENT SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC".
Prem KumarIt is a good thing that the police is insisting of some security measures for the internet cafés in the city. They are keeping up logs and registers and installing surveillance cameras in cyber cafes. About surveillance cameras it would be a costly affair for most of the café owners especially the maintenance of it in the long run. The cafes run by big companies like ‘Reliance’ could afford to it. As most of the residences in the city have computers with net access the customers are dwindling day by day at the cafes. Apprehending the customer culprits could be done by tracing them from the address and photos of the ID cards which is a prerequisite for browsing in the internet cafes. Even for owning a ubiquitous cell phone a photo ID card is the only proof to be produced. So I request the commissioner not to insist upon the surveillance camera in the cyber café as it would be a costly affair for them.
Ramachandran.NWHAT POLICE CAN DO TO PREVENT CYBER FRAUDS? MANY ARE BEING CHEATED BY SO CALLED 'WORK FROM HOME' AGENCIES. THEY CHARGE HEAVY AMOUNTS FOR 'REGISTRATION' AS VENDOR AND THEN FOOL THE 'VENDOR'. I AM A VICTIM TO THIS.

sumesh sethumadhavanRespected Sir, (Sub: Misconduct by the tourist taxi driver – KL 7AZ – 5775- TATA INDIGO) I am writing this letter to share my experience which I had encountered today. I am writing this letter with great pain so that it does not happen to any other tourist visiting Munnar. I am NRI working in Muscat and have come on a month’s vacation to India. Me along with my family I had been to Munnar which includes my Parents, my sister, my brother In-Law and two kids aged 6 yrs and 7 yrs. We had a wonderful 2 day stay in Munnar and while driving back in our car (Omni) after crossing Rajamala Hills 10 Kilometers from Munnar. Time would be around 11:40 am, there was some PWD work going on in the road. There was a rough patch where it was bit difficult to drive; hence we were driving slowing since one of the child was sick as well. The said TATA INDIGO wanted us to give way where we couldn’t give since it was bit slippery in the sides he immediately over took our car. After a Kilometer he stopped our car in a junction with the help of some PWD workers he then manhandled us my brother in-law was driving the car at that time. Suspect he was drunk as well. We were in shock since we never expected such an behavior since Munnar being a tourist spot in fact I had heard a lot about it “Munnar is a tourist paradise – for people like me who work in hot climate in gulf is more than I had expected. Hats off to Kerala tourism Development Corporation. My mother being a live witness to the incident had high BP; with children’s panicking as well they started crying. Respected sir, this is certainly not a complaint which I would like to lodge but would certainly like to bring to your notice, since with all this panic I had tried calling 100 where it went to Ernakulum control room where they gave me the Idukki control room number which was not getting through., later we wanted to lodge a complaint we were informed that the nearest police station was in Marayoor which was 20 Kms from the place of incident and my mother’s condition getting worse I had to drive down to Udumalpet to get her doctor’s assistance immediately. When told that we would lodge a complaint the taxi driver started abusing us in filthy languages in fact started abusing my sister. Which I really felt ashamed since Kerala being a Gods own Country with hundreds of out bound and inbound tourists visiting Kerala this incidence is a fact of shame. I would also suggest to prevent such incidents in the future like in any other National Highway placards be displayed giving the police control room number so that the tourist can get in touch with the police immediately. To prevent these type of inhuman behaviors. Or also every vehicle being provided the police hotline number when they cross the border. Appreciate if you could take necessary action to prevent such incidence in the future. Thanks in advance, Sumesh Sethumadhavan
Venugopal T KCongrats for the wonderful website. Everybody hesitates to come to the Police station and register their complaints. I would like to know whether the authorities will take action if complaints are registered in this site. Thanks n regds Venugopal
Anil ARAVINDANI am residing at Kochi and it is my pleasure to express my sincere opinion that our police is well organised and very energetic in finding the truth.Where as if you look back to the technology side I personally feel that we have to adopt some best practices adopting by other states and countries by paying visit to their facilities. Good wishes to all
S.VIJAYANDear Sir, I am staying Kadavanthra and going to Kakkanadu by car through Kadavanthra, Vyttila, NH47, Palarivattom and MKK Nair Road and reaching Kakkanadu. Going to Kakkanadu is OK. But while coming back from Kakkanadu in the evening traffic block in Vyttila junction is vey heavy. This is maily due to one reason. Vehicles coming from Pannurunni side is trying to cross NH to go to Thrippunithu/Maradu side. Similary vehicles coming from Palarivattom side turning right before junction and creating traffic block. In order to over come the problem I suggest the following. 1. Vehicles coming from Pannurunni side should take left turn without reaching NH and reach the other side of the road though the road below the railway bridge. 2. Similary vehicles coming from NH should take left turn before Vyttila junction and reach western side through the road below the railway bridge. I hope Traffic Section will examine the possibility of the suggestion and if found practical implement it. Regards S.Vijayan
Tony Thomasif i write a mail in this Email:cpekm@keralapolice.gov.in will this reach Manoj sir
A.G.Suresh BabuCongradulations to the Kerala Police for this wornderfull website. I have been driving on the roads of kerala for the last 25 years and have quite a few accidents. I also find that motorists as well as pedestrians are increasingly defaulting in something called road-ethics. On the road every one seems to in frenzy to reach their destnations faster than any one else. This is applicable to both motorists as well pedestrians who cross the road without even minding the green signal given to the traffic. It is not rare that we find motor vehicals parked near junctions blocking the veiw & causing greate hardship to others who want to take a U-Turn. This is common at M.G.Road-Veekshanam Road Junction - a mojor cause to traffic hold-ups here. I would like the Police dep look into this at the earliest. I would the Police dep go through this website, where you shall find re-search report on speeding issues reffering UK Govt's vehicular research centre's studies. http://www.carbibles.com/speeding_facts.html Thank you once again & regards suresh
Chanchal Rajrequested and adopt modern cameras like foriegn contries to fix at each traffic signal points and observe the difference... anyway HAPPY NEW YEAR..
V.RajeshwaranThis is first to thank the city police commissioner for the wonderful job presently done by the police, the place I reside was a nasty place but of now due to frequent roaming by police personel this has reduced to nil. My second request is to control the city bus (Red Bulls)they do not care for the citizens that they are ment to carry and are running like an amoke elephant even an elephant can be brought under control but they are not. My 3rd is asuggestion i.e.change the bus stop at high court to a little back ward as the bus comming stop at the signal the other vehicles using the road are in real danger exspecially two wheelers. Thanking you withoutmost respect. V.Rajeshwaran
