My Wife's thali mala(5 and a half pavan) was lost on 30th June ,2007 at Shenoy's theatre during 1.30 pm Shivaji show. The persons ( a man and a lady) sitting next to us simply dissappeared after approx. one hour through the show. First man left, after 10 minutes the lady also left. This may just be a coincidence also. The loss of chain was realized only after we reached home back around 6.00 pm. Immediately rushed back to the theatre where they told it is advisable to wait till 8.15 pm as theatre will get empty by that time after first show. We searched accordingly, but in vain. Thereafter same day evening a complaint was registered with Central Police Station ( near High Court). SI gave us a patient hearing and told us probablity of finding such cases are very minimal. I don't think a FIR was lodged as I didn't get any copy of it. They just accepted our complaint. My feeling is this may not be a very sophisticated case of theft but rather it may be like this chain might have fallen down due to some loose hook or so and someone who saw it might have taken it. My request is if someone finds it please do inform as there is lot of sentiment attached to it. I can be contacted as informed below. Judish Raj

This is to inform on June 30th ,2007 at Shenoy's theatre during 1.30 pm show of Shivaji my wife lost her thali mala ( 5 and a half pavan). We came to know about this lose only after we reached back home around 5.45 pm. Myself and wife immediately rushed to theatre again but we were advised by theatre authorities that you better wait till 8.15 pm when the first show will finish you will have theatre empty to search. As during showtime if we search and someone gets also there are chances we may still lose. We waited patiently for it till that time. In the meantime it striked to us two people sitting next to us one lady and another man simply walked of that show may be after one hour ( much before interval). First the man left and followed by woman in another 10 minutes. This we informed to theatre authorities also. In the meantime first show finished and we searched with full cooperation from theatre authorities. But in vain ,we couldn't get. We both then went to Central Police Station (near High Court) and lodged a complaint. SI there gave a patient hearing but no FIR was lodged. But our complaint was accepted. They also informed us about limitations in recovering such cases which I also appreciated. My feeling is it was probably not a very sophisticated chain snatching rather it may be a case of chain may have fallen down due to some technicality and probably neighbours sitting next to us might have witnessed this and got tempted to pick that up. Here I would like to say this is pure speculation and may be they might have left for some other reason also. Whatever it is if any kind hearted person have found it and wish to return it please do that as there is lot of sentiment attched to it apart from the cost involved. Judish Raj
