Narcotic Cell

A separate Cell is functioning under an Assistant Commissioner of Police to check possession, use and trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The Cell is at present working in the old and historic Police Station viz. Edappally Police Station building. Any information about the drug trafficking can be directly passed on to the Commissioner of Police or to the telephone no 1090.

Senior Citizen's Cell

City police has got a separate division for taking care of the senior citizens of the city. There is cell functioning under Ac Narcotic Cell. Any senior citizen having any sense of insecurity can call up 100 and request for help. There will be frequent patrolling by flying squad on those places or house.
