This is a Police Station exclusively under women Police officers. It deals with cases related to women only. Officers of the Vanitha Police Station will also perform Law & Order duty.

A Sub Inspector heads the Vanitha Police Station. A new building of Vanitha police station is coming up at the North police station compound.

Women Cell

Women Cell comprising exclusively of women officers is concerned with settling of family disputes. A Circle Inspector heads the Women's Cell. It mostly does the counselling work and seminar on gender issues are being conducted.
